This. Just keep checking your camera and when the first big buck pops up, hunt it as much as possible but only if the wind is good.

Not a bad problem to have if you ask me. Could be no deer at all!

My Kimble county lease is the same way this year. We had good fawn crops 2012-2014 but nothing in the drought of 2011 and very little in 2010. What mature bucks that are there are nocturnal and avoid feeders until the rut. They only hit the feeders in the rut to check out the does. At least I hope to see one during the rut because no one has seen any yet.

The big boys go into hiding when season starts and hit feeders a lot less in my experience.

Better kill them young one to make room for the big boys.

Some deer never go to a feeder. Move a camera to a trail area somewhere away from the feeder. When the rut kicks in the grand daddy buck will be waitin in ambush along these trails away from the feeder but near enough to check out the girls.

From the title of the thread I thought maybe you took over my lease...

Grayson has some monster deer but not large numbers. Keep looking like the others have said. Hunt those ravines and travel corridors!!

Are all your cameras pointing at feeders? If so I would move them to trails and hand corn. You might be surprised what you really have around.
