A new hunting spot, 15 minutes from my house!

Well I have lived in NE Texas for 10 years now and never hunted anywhere close to here. Our lease is 3.5 hours west. I was talking with a guy I know yesterday and he said to go out to a place of his and knock myself out hunting. The place is a 100 acres and 15 minutes from my house So I loaded up today and got two spots set up. Being from Abilene and hunting out west my entire life I am not real sure about all these big ole trees. It's kinda dark and scary in there..wet too!. It's in Red River county and I have seen a bunch off TBH folks that hunt there. And yes everything was sprayed down with vanilla. We will see what happens
