    Soooo

The last time I needed mask, fins and snorkel to hunt I was off Maui, HI spear fishing. This mornings **** floater almost swamped my truck, it hit that fast. Barley made it to the paved road. Once I did had to crawl on the shoulder till all the mud in my wheel wells broke free. Crazy. Doubt I'll go out this eve. Hope everyone is safe, dry and happy.

I was sitting in my ground blind when the lightning and thunder started. Then it started raining cats and dogs. Saw more deer this morning than any other day so far this season!

We hunted the Lincoln ranch one year, spent the first day putting out homemade ground blinds, then it rained all night, we called it the next morning and it took us 3 hours to get back to the highway. Those ground blinds are probably still there. No fun, need the rain, but in moderation.

Being in a tree doesn't mix well with lightning. The thunder was off to my west a ways but the first crack of lightning had me moving.
