Morning hunts non-existent

Of all the morning hunts I've done this year, including taking opening week off, I've seen deer one morning. This is by far the toughest hunting early season I've had at my farm in 7 years.

This has been the slowest year ever at the ranch for me. Been skunked 3 or more times. Guess it is due to better browse conditions and bad moon.

Same here. Looks like a repeat of least year. Only thing different is I actually have a few deer on trail cams at this time. I have a terrible hog problem, better browse than corn and more shooting by neighbors.

Lots to browse on out there I guess. I've seen deer but not numbers I've seen after a dry summer.

This morning crossing the creek, I thought I was I'm a jungle. The weeds was taller than me, no kidding!!!

Same here. If it weren't for the game cam pics we did for the deer survey we would think they all died. 3 weekends without seeing a single buck

When i do see the, not one deer this year past 8 am. Normally see deer till 930....
