    DSLR help?

I wanting to buy a new dslr and was wandering which ones yall are using. I'll be using it for Deer pics, family pics, videoing the hunt, and night time pics of LDPS. I would like if the cam had SD cards. Canon eos mark III or Nikon 810

You can't go wrong with either of those. I shoot the Nikon but the Canon is an excellent product as well.

As was mentioned, either will serve you well. More importantly, save up your pennies, do a little research and buy the very best lens you can afford.

I've only ever had a Nikon, and loved it, but got lots of buddies that swear by Canon. Agree with everyone else so far.

My wife uses a Canon 5D mark 3. One big thing is also the lens

I'm a Nikon person but like posted above, either body would do fine. Just invest in some good glass.

I prefer the Nikon d7000. I'm playing with the d7100 right now and don't like it as much as the 7000

I love my Nikon but I think both are great cameras

After taking pics for a while, you will want to start taking video. I,would suggest a good HD camcorder over a camera. I get still shots on my camcorder that are as good as shots in my Canon rebel T3
