    Texans vs Colts

    So I made my one trip to watch the Texans this year.....It actually turned out to be a great game....but how in the HELL does a home team give up 24 points in the 1st qtr....That just does not happen in the NFL.....
    Texans really do suck....It is getting incredibly hard to be a fan when they put up crap games like this...I know, they are 3-3 but they beat the 3 worst teams in football.....Without JJ Watt on this team they are 0-6 guaranteed .... Kareem Jackson and Joseph are GARBAGE.....3rd and 5 and they play 12 yds off the rec...first down EVERYTIME.....Cushing is not playing like the old Cush.....no other pass rusher on the team.....QB play is mediocre, we don't have any tightends, O line is below avg......

      Cushing played a hell of a game against the Cowboys while they were shutting Watt down. But I agree with everything else

            I agree on the Cush statement. Hopefully he just not 100% coming off last years injury (here comes the steroid comments from the cowboy fans).

            As far a Joseph and Jackson, if you have a QB like Luck and his receivers, they will get open if you only have Watt providing any sort of pressure. Someone will pay Jackson good money next year in FA. I would not call them garbage.

            Rick Smith should be held accountable for the roster. I'm not happy with the team but will always be a fan and will watch them, win or lose. I'm a homer. I can't just jump on someone else's bandwagon.

              Joseph, Jackson, and Swearinger are all garbage. They look like high school players TRYING to play in the NFL. I dont who care who pays them a lot of money next year they need to all be gone. We need to spend the money on the OLINE and secondary.

              I am sick of saying we are rebuilding..... when are we gonna be done?

              Very frustrating and this new coach is not impressive at all.

                Considering what he is working with he is light years beyond Kubiak. If JJ and Clowney can stay healthy and pressure the QB our secondary will start to look better. We need a strong QB, the colts sure got lucky getting Luck. I expect us to win 4-6 more games this year which is better than last year but until we get a franchise QB we will stay medicore at best.

                  I guess what I was trying to say was that receivers will get open eventually if given enough time and you have a QB like Luck. Except for Watt, we have no pass rush. Jackson will be gone next year, which I am certainly ok with. But I don't trust Rick Smith to draft the right cb to replace him. Joseph might be a cap casualty since we have cap issues. They won't have a lot of cap room to go after good FA replacements either. I think AJ Bouye will take over for Jackson at some point.

                  Rick Smith is the problem. Lots of holes to fill.

                      While we are on the bashing, I think Bill O'Brien is garbage. He makes Gary Kubiak look like Bill Cowher. He is way too conservative.

                        Do you think that might have to do with not trusting his QB with the ball?

                        I don't know who they should have hired, but I do know who they should have fired when they canned Kubiak. See my post above.

                          I honestly wanted Lovie Smith..... As far as O'Brien, I think QB might have something to do with it but I question several calls this year. Against the colts, why kick that field goal in the 4th? The one we missed. That was four down territory in that situation. Also, why burn a timeout on the 2 pt conversion.

                          Against the Cowboys in OT, why pass the ball on 3rd. Ran the ball on 1st, ran the ball on 2nd and long, then pass on third and short in the middle of the field. All while foster is in beast mode. A lot of our three and outs have been due to play calling. Granted I understand he is not the offensive coordinator but still has a big say in play calls. I just dont know about him. I should give him a chance considering it is his first season, but I wish we had a little more aggressive coach. McNair obviously looks for the conservative style head coaches.

                            I totally agree. Foster could have made the two yards. Hopefully he is just going through some rookie mistakes. I think he will work though.
