Questions about doing a delete on a ford 6.7 diesel

I have 2013 f250 with the 6.7 diesel. I have heard that doing the delete is very advantageous. How do you begin the process - do they sell "delete kits"?

Do repair shops install the kits?

How much does the kit cost as well as install costs?

Aside from voiding the warranty, what are other risks associated with this procedure.

Do you have to install a tuner in order to keep the engine's computer from freaking out due to the changes? If not how do you keep from getting code problems as well as the engine running correctly after the changes due to way trucks computer was programmed?

What all is involved with this install/procedure?

Send me a pm, my buddies at Tsd can get you squared away, egr delete, fully deleted exhaust (no more def). Egr delete and exhaust is fairly cheap. The programmer is the expensive part. But Tsd can custom tune your programmer which is awesome for these 6.7s. Costs vary per shop kits like sinister are always the same.

Are you somewhat mechanically inclined? If so you can do it yourself. Do you know how to use a computer? Loading files on the tuner is incredibly easy. This is not a good site to ask this question, go to powerstroke.org its a community like this site, except all they talk about is powerstrokes. You will find all the info you need there.

Yes you can use that tuner. Price for a full delete depends where you go and which kit etc

Had mine done at TSD as well...yes u can use the mini max. Thats what they put in my truck. Also took all that DEF crap off too. Felt like I got better gas mileage before all that tho..maybe its my heavy foot with all that power. Its night and day with that mini max
