We had donkeys for years.

They kill all predators. Our jack, would revisit the predators he killed, stomp on them some more, and then it became his favorite place to go poo.

He probably killed near 100 predators in the years we had him. Coyote, bobcat and fox. We never had pigs on the property at that time either, not sure if he kept them at bay or if that was just dumb luck.

Our jenny's would chase predators off, the jack would kill them.

Is a mule as fast as a horse? Not a race horse but say a quarter horse?

I assume a regular ol donkey is a bit slower.

My wife's BIL thought so, bought him a jack turned it out with the sheep, kept finding dead lambs. Few days later caught the donkey using lambs for sparring practice, so the bil used the donkey for target practice.
