Since this thread still has some life I wanted to post an apology for being biligerent back early in the converstation. Denot gave me a repeat third down call. Kinda like the other tbh'r I was speaking from some angst from a past situation. Sorry for attacking--don't usually do those things. Suprised me how much was still in me from 15 years ago! I was connected to the Brock community--2 funerals on Dec 22nd, 2 the day after Christmas. The kicker is the hunter who was drunk was not an idiot or any of the other sorts of things that are stereotypes. Good guy, family, church connection, helped miniortiys (yes--defense talk but probably true). I don't hate the guy--he has done enough self hating in past 15 years in jail.
I am not a prohibitionist nor a t-toddler. Would not drink and hunt.
Have gone spot lighting with guys drinking--one had just got out of prison for drugs--had a lot of fun with those guys!

Anyway--I will think more next time before I post!

Man, some people live really boring lives.

The biggest problem bowhunting completely blitzed would be missing a shot. How is it going to endanger other hunters a mile away?

Now guns I can see the issue. Dove hunts are much more dangerous than deer gun hunts with beer.

I've had a beer or 2 dove hunting but other than that, no. You do what you want but drinking and guns/bows/climbing trees/etc is not smart. Kinda like driving and drinking. Done it before and I try to not do dumb moves anymore. I can wait till after hunt time to drink.
