    2014 Covert Code Black HELP!!!!!!

Set it up was working great. Here are my questions:

    1. Have 4 rechargeable batteries in it and have flipped the switch to rechargeable. Have a Moultrie solar panel and 6v battery combo plugged into it. When I first put it up battery life showed 9, last pic texted to me on 10-3 shows 5. So it is not recharging. What do I do?

    2. Went and got the camera yesterday, put in my passcode to check settings, did not have an ATT signal and battery level was low. Turned off camera, turned on to setup, try to enter my passcode and now i get a passcode error and cannot enter it. I have removed all power, and placed new batteries in and same thing, passcode error. What do I do?

    Thanks for you help.

With the solar panel and 6v I wouldn't think you would need the smaller batteries in it.

You have to have some batteries in it because when you close the cover that's when you plug in the solar panel. You can't open the camera and get to the menu with this plugged in.

Is this the Moultrie PowerPanel combo you are using? If so, I use these in my regular game cams(not text you style) and sometimes the battery level will read lower (75%?) on a cloudy day but rebound to 99% most of the time.
I've bought 2 and one is still going 14 months later and one was just replaced. Maybe it's going bad? Idk.
Btw, will the cam not save the settings without internal batteries long enough to close the cam and insert the PowerPanel plug?

Looks like the one I have.

But mine is 15ft up in a tree. When the wind gets up it takes a pic every two minutes. When I first set it up got a pic every 1 min when wind is blowing. Long story but I need it up that high.
