Missed this buck back in 2007.





I was watching a spike chase a doe around for 30 minutes or so. Doe kept looking back every so often. This beast I called Ghost came out nose to the ground grunting. First time Id ever seen him. Took a shot with a 30-30 and he dropped. I got really excited. What felt like 20 seconds was only about 2. He stood up and hauled butt. Took another shot and nothing. Told my dad the story of the largest 6pt ever and i dont think he believed me. 2 wks later on Christmas he showed himself on camera. No reports of him ever being killed. I google Jack County 6 pt all the time in hopes to find who maybe killed him.
