Can anyone tell me what to expect hunting in this area? Any info would help.

I've hunted that area for about 15 years. There are a lot of deer. We're low fence mld and have to kill 60 deer on 2 sections this year. Exotics and hogs are either feast or famine. Some places are covered up with them and other places don't hold any. You should definitely have plenty of opportunities to shoot things before the end of the season. -

We hunted menard for 5 years. Just got off the place before season. We were just south of town off of 83. In that time we NEVER saw a single hog. We saw a few exotics, but very few. Killed a few nice 130s and 140s bucks. Tons of deer. Where at sw of menard are you hunting?Comment

I'm West of Menard in Ft. McKavett and we are seeing hogs the last couple of years...I didn't think we had many but the ranch hands have trapped 50 or so in the last two years....Comment
