You bet! Most of it is fairly good quality. Some of the darker colors I've found the sheath has a very silky texture that is prone to snagging and runs. Just an FYI for ya.

If you cut a small piece and put it in water it will sink if it's really Nylon. Polyester will sink too. Polypropylene, which is not nearly as strong, will float.
