    lacrosse alpha burly question

I have several pairs of rubber boots for different temps and need some early season hot weather boats. My question- how hot are they. they show 3.5mm, so should I stay away from them. I need a good pair that will last. Thanks

Persaonally I have found that the snake boots are cooler than ANY rubber boots. Now don't get me wrong, I love my alpha burly in cool / Wet weather. The snake boots just breath far better and most are water proof at least if allowed to dry out. For all day wet cool weather then the alpha burlys are best. That is unless your faced with snakes in cool weather which does not happen usually.

    Good luck, RD

I wear them but they are warm. I have the alpha burley sport, it's an awsome boot but warm in early Oct. But honestly even shorts in a blind are hot at that time of year.

I have used them in warmer weather and they are not bad. I have not worn any rubber boot that is cool in the heat. They are still rubber boots but they are very comfortable and dry.

I dont mind them in the summer, but in the cold weather a rubber boot freezes my foot...

I agree, the alpha burley tend to be a bit hot, when stalking even it the cooler weather, they have warmed up on me a bit, but sitting in the stand in Nov or later, depending on the conditions, they work out fine.
