Lubbock - places to eat?

I don't think anyone mentioned Rosa's Cafe... it's a chain, but we don't have it down here in South East TX and I miss it!

Spanky's is also another one I miss...

4 Bar K on Fridays for all you can eat barbeque and all you can drink beer for like $8, or at least that was what it cost when I was still there several years ago.

I haven't lived in lubbock in a long time but I vote Cagles for steaks and I always liked Blue Sky Burgers on 98th.

Spanky's for sure...also River Smith's has pretty good fried catfish...Pancake House on Q for breakfast...Orlando's during happy hour...cheap schooners of beer!

The Blackened Tuna A La Mer is dang good as well, and I prefer to order the half order, because no matter how many cool ones I've ordered beforehand I can never finish the plate.


I'd forgotten about 4-k lunches on Fridays! I used to meet up with my friends all the time there back in the good old days. We need to get a TBH G2G there one friday! Is it still going on?
