Some hunts up here in Lubbock can't wait!!!!

I don't know how to rotate the one pic, but this is a hunt where it was so cold we didn't want to get up and go(and a little too much fire water the night before) but we got up at 8;30 and the conditions were still good so we were out there and setup by 9;30 and were done by 11:00....How do you enlarge pics????

Looks like fun. I have a feeling that may have been the same morning as this. It was COLD!!! That is all ice behind me, first time I ever had to break ice for decoys.

I went to Tech back in the day... d@^n fine waterfowl hunting up there. I had many a great morning, often colder than we cold stand.

Sure would like to head up there again sometime soon!

November until the late is a little slow depending on the cold fronts that we get pushin birds down, the more the better, but December and January usually are sick.

So anytime a front moves in in Dec is a good time?

Heck, if we could get by with it, we could limit out almost every morning during goose season shooting out of the back of my truck in my driveway from the geese flying off of the west lake on Lakeridge Country Club and you definitely would not need much of a gun becasue the are low flyers over my house. Low enough that my 2 Rotties bark at them in the backyard.

I could limit every day if I could hunt inside the loop.
