almost blown out of tree!

Last day of hunting before heading back to the rig. Get to my stand and I had to put my climber on a smaller tree than usual. After I get up and settled in a fox sneaks it in to my corn as I'm watching him the wind goes from a slight breeze to blowing the tree I'm in into the one next to it Almost throwing me out of my stand and definitely making me rethink the whole I need to be in a climber not in a blind. Luckily it died down long enough for me to zoom down the tree and make my way outta the woods. Not before the down poor hits lol no deer meat today but I'll be back out there in 2 weeks with another game plan. Just wanted to share, felt like an idiot but lesson learned. Hope everyone has a blessed day and better luck than me

The wind was crazy yesterday morning. The tree I was in was spinning around hitting other trees. Made me pretty dizzy.

Lol. Been there, done that! I was about 25' up in a pine that wasn't very big, but was in a good spot. About 30 minutes into the hunt a storm started blowing in. I had some white knuckles hanging on to the stand until the winds died down.
