Pro-drive or gator tail center console?

Looking into these boats and wanted some green screen advice. Any reviews/preferences or experience y'all can share would be greatly appreciated.

    Ford v Chevy

I've looked at buying both and it seems to be just a buyer preference. Bottom line is, I've been no help.

      Gator tail

I owned a 1754 pro drive boat with 36 on it. I would go with a gator tail . The reverse is easier to use then pro drive. It's instant at a boat ramp. Gator tail has a better resale value in my opinion . I would recommend the hunt deck on the boat. It's awesome for wade fishing hunting or anything on getting in and out of the boat and keeps the inside of boat clean because you wash boots off or what ever before entering. Good for a dog also if you have one.

I just thought about it. I know a guy that's lives fairly close to la border which is the direction of gatortail main shop. He can answer questions and take you for a test ride when you or if you get serious to look at one. If to want his number pm and I'll dig around and try to get it.

Gator tail gets my vote. I've owned both and I just prefer the gator tail.

You can get a lot more bang for your buck getting a custom hull built. I've owned a 1848 pd boat w a 36 motor, a brother breaux 2054 w a pd, a 2060 CC GT boat with dual GTR motors and currently a WC 1854 cc with a GTR 35. You can't go wrong with any of those IMO. But my current boat is my favorite. Lots of info over at mud motor talk . Com. Good luck!

That wouldnt happen to be Lake Lewisville would it? I remember seeing that dual GTR boat out there a few times a couple of years ago. Awesome boat, both of them.

You will be happy with either one. The instant reverse at the ramp on a GT is sweet, but usually only needed when people push you off that don't know. I was used to the old school Go Devils and you had to push off at an angle so the boat would turn around since it didn't have reverse.
