Any ideas on a feeder pen would be appreciated!

The hogs are wearing me out. Just got this from the covert. I'm going to take the AR 15 this weekend but my stand is 167 yards away. That's a long distance for rapid fire hog destruction. I'm sure they would scatter to cover after the first shot.
Question: how would y'all secure a feeder pen on ground this rocky? There's absolutely no way to stake it down. Don't want to bring in a hammer drill during season. I was going to bring in about 4 16 ft hog panels and wire them into a circle around the feeder bit I'm thinking the hogs would just lift em up. Not sure what to do at this point. Maybe just hog hunt all season. Lol

I was gonna suggest the same with a ground blind. Might help on scent control.

X2....just because your stand is far away doesn't mean that you couldn't sit at the base of one of those trees and smoke a herd with a shotgun.

Rock wall....I have seen some decent blinds out of stone on here. I mean decent, as in I could stay in one for the whole weekend!

Hog panels wired in a circle should work. I place a few t-post inside the pen to keep them from moving it. You could wire some rocks to the bottom if you can't drive a post.

This is what I was thinking too, the rocks tied to the hog panels would be enough weight to hold it down. The hogs are wearing me out as well, we are about to declare war on them.

Fill barrels with rock/dirt as a substitute for t posts. Just drill holes to run your wire thru.

I like the 12 gauge idea! Didn't think of that. I know if I walk in there to set a stand Friday for the evening hunt when I get to the ranch, I'll bump them out. I think the bed close to the feeder. I'm thinking rifle hunt from my stand Friday night, put a tripod up after I shoot Friday night. Sit in the tripod sat morning with the 12 gauge. Maybe sat afternoon put up the pen with rocks around the bottom. You can't get a t post 2" into the ground. In this pic my feeder is in that clear rock area across the arroyo. The blind is right side of pic.

Hog panels wired together, buy a bunch of quickcrete sacks, bring water, wire the panels then place the sacks across the bottom wire and soak with water .
If you use enough bags of concrete along with local rocks they won't move
