I've been known to use them on occasion. They are tough to sharpen but fly like darts.

Been shooting them since they hit the market. Best designed and manufactured head on the market as far as I am concerned.
I would recommend you buy the steel heads vs the stainless steel ones. They are easier to sharpen. The design of this head makes them extremely easy to sharpen.
I do not remember a animal that I did not go completely through and have killed everything from a little duiker to a BIG blue wildebeest. My son killed a bull elk, around 700 pounds, with one this past month. One day I shot a warthog and three impala yews with the same head without sharpening.
The ONLY head that has shown any damage was one I shot a guinea with and hit hit a rock on the other side and it rolled one of the blades. Rolled it, not busted it.
Last trip to Africa their was 8 bowhunters shooting 8 different heads, mine was the Montec. Before the end of the hunt, ALL eight hunters were shooting them. Good thing I took a couple dozen extra ones. The 6 PH's there ALL preferred them and they see hundreds of animals shot every year.
Not sure what else to say.

I used them when I first started bow hunting and connected on 3 deer. Poor blood trails despite all good shots on 2 of those instances. Of those 3 shots none of the shots were complete pass throughs and I shoot a 70 lb draw weight. As previously stated I found that they were somewhat dull out of the box and in my opinion there are better Broadheads on the market. I've switched to slick tricks and have had much better results.

This is true. Both my shots were high exits.
