I wasn' able to go out yesterday, figured I would give it a rest. Been at that spot twice this week. Once just me and another with my son as it was his turn.

Went out this morning and saw a couple that had my son's name on it. Pulled the card when I left... dang... the one with MY name on it shows up yesterday. First time this year seeing it in the daytime.

I will be back there this evening.Hope he shows up. He is a big 9 point.

Reminds me of a particularly cold morning when I didn't dress warm enough and sat in a stand where an open hayfield's wind directly blew into the trees where I was. After about an hour after sunrise, I couldn't stand it anymore and had to get down. Checked the camera a day later and had both shooter bucks from that area together in one picture frame about 30 minutes after I had got down. I now overdress & layer.
