.22 ammo at Wal-mart

Wal-Mart will start selling .22 ammo CCI 100 rd count at stores in the morning at 8 am. You will be allowed three boxes, it will be on sale for $7.47 per 100. Only draw back is they will have 420 boxes at big supercenters, and 250 at smaller ones in rural areas.

The Wal-Mart here gets .22 ammo fairly regularly, but there are a few customers that show up at 5 to 5'30 am and wait on the truck at 8 or 9. So it's a matter of is there any left after the morning "waiters" are done. The Wal-Mart employes know who the people are, but either can't, or won't, limit them beyond the 3 boxes/bricks. I'm fairly close to a couple of the emplyees and think it's probably more along the "can't" side of things. Store policy is first come first serve, 3 boxes/containers/bricks per customer. If they get individual boxes, it's boxs. If they get bricks, it's bricks. If they get 100 rd containers/boxes, that's what it is.

The Academy here has been getting pretty decent supply of .22. Mixed varieties, but it all goes bang. You need to hit it right, but it's not the roulette wheel at Wal-Mart.

I don't even own a .22. Gave it to my son-in-law, so now I'm hunting ammo for him.

Cabelas had it in Ft worth yesterday. $8 something a 100 rounds of cci. Only 1 box per customer.

Was just at the local Wal-Mart tonight. They had a sign up on the ammo shelf saying they would have none of the ammo listed in the ad.
