    Shooting light today?

What time does it get light enough to shoot today up here in North Texas?

Generally I've found that if it's light enough to see through my peep and identify my pins then it's well within the legal shooting hours.
But to answer your question more directly, sunrise in Wise county is 0726 so a half hour before that would be legal.

There are several apps you can load onto your phone (if you have a smart phone) that give you exact sunrise and sunset times for your area.

I always check it before hunting because the last thing you want is to guess and then be "poaching" due to shooting before or after legal light.

6:42 shows to be legal based of a 7:12 sunrise per the weather channel for us but it will be at least 7:00 before i can see enough to shoot
