Yes or No?: Bedliner material on UTV Roof!!!

Give me the PRO's/CON's of the bedliner coating on a UTV roof.

Two places I am deciding between: 1 has the coating and 1 has a marine paint/no bedliner coating.

    Thanks guys

What result are you looking for in either material?

If you prep them right they should adhere well and last a long time..I have mine done as well as the bumper I built for mine seen in the avatar with the spray in bedliner from home depot..I also did my own truck as well and it is almost 10 yrs old ( I used the roll on herculiner for it) but prep is key but easy to do yourself

Pros: looks good when done right and you can smack it with limbs etc all day long and it still looks good vs a scratched up paint job

Con: looks like crap and wont last if you don't spend the time to prep it, that's about all I can think of

I am buying a roof so it will all be professionally done, not by me!

I am just using it around deer camp. Mainly using the roof for sun/rain protection and just didn't know which route to have as the paint/texture.

I will occassionally haul a few bags of corn on top but moving stands/tieing things down to the bars up top will be its only foreseeable use

Yes to the coating and as stated above- get it done right or at least prep it properly.

I did not do either and it flakes off periodically.
No big deal to me, I just hit it with more bed liner spray paint every now and then.

I will be buying the roof and it will be professionally done, so I hope to not have that issue if I buy one with the bedliner
