    Blocked from Craigslist

    Anybody been blocked from Craigslist? Im always on there looking at boats and stuff but rarely post anything and probably haven't done so in a year. Went to search last night and app wouldn't work so thought I would just use web but got a message saying my ip address was blocked. I emailed them with no response and can't find anything helpful searching.
    And to answer any jokes I want looking at anything more than boats and vehicles lol.

      A couple of possibilities here. You could have a virus/malware that is constantly hitting other servers looking for devices to infect and have gotten blocked somehow. Or I have seen sites block ranges of IP addresses that they have deemed to have a high rate of malicious attacks originating from them.

            When you were blocked on your phone, were you on your wifi connection? If not, then I don't know what to tell you if both your phone and computer were blocked as they would have different IP addresses.

              No just on my phone I went to use the app and it wasn't working so I used the internet on my phone and that's when I saw the ip blocked message.

                  If your phone is connected to wifi, take it off the wifi and try.

                  If it is not connected tot he wifi, try connecting to the wifi then try it.

                  If it works when not connected to wifi, but fails when connected to wifi, then you should be able to reset the router to get a new one from your ISP. May need to call technical support at your ISP.

                  If the site works on wifi, but not on phones cell data(3g/4g/LTE, etc), your phone will need to get a new IP. How depends on what IP you have.
