Ha! It was a lighted knock, one of the crappy malfunctioning ones that Nockturnal has been putting out. I need to seriously upgrade them. Who is that company that is making really good ones now?

My experience has been that the lighted nocks don't show up on the reverse angle shots no matter the brand.

Did you have the camera set on the narrowest setting and the doe was 15 yards away from the camera or was it on normal settings and the doe was 3 yards away and it looks like it is 15 yards away from the camera? This is the only thing I can't stand about my GoPro camera. If the subject is 10 yards away I want it to look like it is 10 yards away on camera, not look like it is 30 yards away

It was on wide angle, and there is a reason to leave it there. When you narrow the field on a GoPro, all that you are doing is using less of the sensor, so the resolution is less. You are better off leaving it on wide and using the editing software to narrow the shot. That way you don't miss any action that you may want. It is different on a camera that has true optical zoom, the GoPro does not. The camera was actually about 4 yards from the animal at the shot, and I was just 5 yards on the other side of the animal, which shows you how fast their reflexes are. At just 5 horizontal and probably no more than 8 linear yards, that deer reacted before the arrow struck.

Did you get her? I did not see an exit hole or blood.

Yes, she went about 30 yards. You can see the entrance hole high on the right shoulder as she goes by. There was plenty of blood, but the resolution was too poor to see it.

Did you use the phone ap to control the camera or the Go Pro remote? I've played around with these Go Pro's some, but plan to get serious with them this year. What experience I've had with them is good and the phone ap is much easier to work with than the remote that comes with the wi-fi package.
