I had a pair a long time ago, they were very comfortable, just heavy.

I never had a steel toe that wasn't heavy. What would you recommend?

I'm fixing to order a pair. My local dealer never seems to have them in stock. I have two friends that love them. One says his only problem is the heal wears out kind of fast. But the local shoe hospital fixes him up.

I had a pair and had the same problem with the heel wearing out fast. I also felt that the sole wasn't cushy enough for a work boot. My current pair and last pair were Ariats and I love them for work boots.

The boots I had weren't steel toe. I guess heavy doesn't matter as much as comfort. It really all depends how much walking you will be doing. As far as comfort goes, I really liked them.

These are what I wear everyday at work, light weight and waterproof. They also have a side zipper that allows you to take them on/off with ease. I've been wearing them for 5 years now.

I am on my 6th pair of Double H ICE boots. I have them in non-steel and steel toe. Love them. Will continue to buy them for years to come.

Only compaint: They glue their insole inside.

I hate to say this but when you buy double h make sure you get the ones made in Mexico not the us. My Mexico boots have lasted years and my us made give out in a few mounts.

I buy 1 pair every 12 months non steel toe, the first week in them is brutal but they break in to be the best work boots I can find.

I wore them for a few years. Tough to break in but a strong boot. I had to get them reheeled every now and then but the leather stayed strong. I liked that they were classic; not a bunch of bs and flashy nonsense.

Just went from an ariat to these, love em! Had twisted x but they are way too soft,
Ariats were good but not near as comfortable to me as these double h so far.
Just wanted to try something different, satisfied so far!

The pair I had didnt hold up at all. I am on my feet all day in railroad ballast so I am kind of hard on them. I have Ariats now that are doing okay.

Have a pair in now. That's all I wear and will ever wear. I prefer the hard sole over the rubber sole.

Best work boot I've ever worn.

My thoughts exactly. I had some custom insoles made for my old ones and I can't use them in these I have on Bc of that reason. But I'll rip them when the time comes.
