About 4 miles from my house. We had a baby there this year and my spent a few nights there with viral meningitis a couple months ago. We saw a few infectious disease doctors....I bet they are on high alert right now.

Two things I heard reported but haven't confirmed.
1) they wont tell us what flight he was on.
2) they sent him home with antibiotics before he tested positive.Comment

This virus has infected more healthcare workers in the last 6 months than HIV has in 30 years. That should tell how virulent it is. Ebola doesn't require a needle stick it to spread.Comment

240 healthcare workers have been infected by ebola and 120 have died. There has been less than 60 healthcare workers infected by hiv in 30 years! My point was that this virus is much more virulent. Their is no doubt that the conditions in Africa are terrible and people are suffering tremendously, but we should take every precaution to keep this contained.
