Jeff Young (JYoung) has been an important part of TexasBowhunter.com since…..well, a LONG time! In 2010, our healthy, crazy, fun friend started having some health issues. After quite a few tests, it was determined he had Parkinson’s. Then after more tests, much more serious news of atypical Parkinsons. Jeff has had a host of issues and recently (a few weeks ago) had to have a hip replacement. In true form, Jeff has handled all this with grace and humor. If you are on his FaceBook page, you have seen how he has turned some difficult situations into something you could laugh at. He handles all this better than most any person could!
Recently, Jeff has progressed to the point of now being on long term disability.
As with all illnesses, and as serious as this one is…sleep is extremely important. The rigidness of Jeff’s muscles make it very difficult with his current bed. His doctor has recommended a different type bed and he mentioned to me he was possibly going to sell his truck to get this bed (financing was not a possibility). I do not want to see that happen. He can still drive and he shouldn’t lose his truck!
Bottom line….this bed is a Sleep Number type bed at $6089, and I want to try to help.
In June of 2011, we created TAP (Texas Archer’s for Parkinson’s) and had a fun archery tournament to gain awareness and raise funds for Parkinson’s research. We had t-shirts made and have a dozen in each size (+/-) left over.
I would like to sell them at a little higher price than a normal shirt, BUT the funds will all go toward Jeff’s bed. I want to sell them at $30 + shipping (no tax on these). All funds will go toward helping bring Jeff more comfort as he battles this disease.

Link to purchase shirt.
Once this specific goal is made, the link will come down. Thanks so much for reading.
