I have a weather related deer question. How does the atmosphere pressure affect animal movement? I look at weatherunderground.com a lot and on their 10 day graph they give the pressure as well and was curious if there was a correlation.

Looking forward to it but I hope it doesn't rain much as it rained on me all four hunts last weekend. This should kick the rut into high gear down here as I did see a couple of bucks chasing last weekend but not real serious.

I am headed to the stand and it is windy! Took off 2 hours in the morning to hunt. It is supposed to be much cooler with winds out of the north. Should be a great morning to be on the stand.

Significant pressure either way is good for bowhunting. Falling pressure is best as wildlife will react instinctively to feed.........thus movement is up!

can't wait for friday morning!!! I have the perfect setup for a N wind and the deer have been hammering it morning and evening............as Jooger said "there will be blood"!

You and me both! I hunted last night and shot a little doe but it was pretty hot in the blind. I cant wait for the morning!!
