So I'm fairly new to bow hunting for the second time around and I pulled back and missed my first shot this year. My question to everyone is about how many shots do you miss in a season? I know this might range wildly from person to person but just wanting to see what a round about average might be.

I haven't missed a deer with my bow in at least 5 years. I've had a couple of shots go not where I intended but have only not recovered one. I don't force my luck, I can shoot a group the size of my hand at 75, but won't shoot whitetail past 25 and standing still broadside. Just do what you feel is comfortable and that you have confidence you can hit, take your time, squeeeeeeeeze the trigger, and whack him!
