    leveling kit and tire size

Anybody have a 2011 Chevy Z71 with a 2 inch leveling kit? What size tires were you able to clear with stock wheels after you raised it up? Thanks for the help....

You should be able to run 33s on it easily. 35s would be pushing it and you'd have to trim the fender wells.

Thanks. I was looking at 285/70/18 but wasn't sure if I would have to trim or not.

I have a 2012 and I think that is the size I have on mine. I know they are 285, just don't remember the second number. They are BFG AT's and if I turn hard left like turning into parking space the edge of the tread will barely catch bottom lip of the fender liner on the drivers side. It's not bad through. Easy fix with a small drill bit and a ziptie to pull it back a tad cause there is some slack in the liner. I think you should be safe. I can go out and double check my tire size if you want.

I had 35's on my Chevy and they rubbed with a 6" lift. You can do the 33's with a leveling kit, but you still might need some backspacing.

I have an 04 Z71 crew cab and currently run 285/70/17 BFG All Terrains on mine with no rubbing. All factory.

4WP told me I could not run 35" if I were to level the front of my truck off without spacers or lots of trimming.

I had a 2010 with rough country 2" leveling kit and had I think 285/70R18 tires with no rub. Its been a while since I had that truck and even longer since I bought those tires, but from what I recall that was the size. If you need an absolute I can call discount tire and ask them to look it up.

                  286/65/18 or 285/70/17

Any larger and you will have some rubbing.

Thanks for the help guys. I will throw them on and see what happens. Gonna get the 2 inch leveling kit and throw a add a leaf in the back.
