Stand set?

I found a well used trail along a treeline with a good tree for a stand. My concern is I have to cross the trail to get in the stand. How big a deal is this if I wear rubber boots?

All I would add is that if possible cross the trail as close to your stand as you can.

Put some vanilla on your boots and cross the trail where you want one to stop. It will stop them in their tracks for a few seconds, usually enough to get the shot you want.
