Tool help. What is this?

Does anyone have any idea what this is? I can't find any markings on it that would give me a clue. Sorry for the crooked panoramic picture.

At first glance I thought it was a puller set of some sort. But I don't know what it is.

The box is 5 or 6 feet long.

Looks like a tool for aligning things. Possibly for set-up of machining equipment. I see 123 blocks under the rag; which are used on a mill. The 3 things on the left, and two on the right, look like they clamp down have bearings of some sort. The inside dimension of the bearing looks the same as the diameter of the shaft in the back of the box. Along with the the bars with the clamp on the end of them (5 of them to the right of the pulley). Those bars look to be able to clamp on the shaft and be adjustable.

I don't know. I will show the old guys at work and see what they think.
