I have a stand on a creek in a prime spot that I have to relocate. The top blew out last year and I still hunted it because it still had good cover. I don't think I will try it this year.

Reminds me of a stand my stepfather put back behind the barn one time. We were out there one Christmas day and a nearby tree had fallen and hit right where the seat was.

As Safety Co-Officer of the company I work for, I would like to challenge y'all to TAKE2 always before going out to the woods and start hunting.
Take 2 minutes to think on this:
"T"alk: to your friends, neighbors and authorities (GW, landowner) about safety.
"A"ctions: make sure you and your party are safe on the progress of your activities.
"K"nowledge: Everyone must know the safety rules and safe procedures.
"E"quipment: make sure your equipment is in good and safe conditions before use.

camping in Elk country and hunting in the lodgepole...those are called widow makers. Had one fall about 30 feet from me a long time ago about 2am in a wind storm. First thing I look for any more...dead trees.Stay away from them bad boys. Good reminder! -thanks!
also watch out for those limbs when climbing trees. Never trust a branch. They are not your friend.
