    Something weird is going on.

So I leased a new place up around antlers ,ok 3 weeks ago. Immediately put out 3 game cameras and a few feeders. Went today to pull the cards and had 3200 pictures of deer. The weird thing is there is not one buck in the whole lot. Have as many as 9 does in a picture at a time though. Guess maybe when the rut hits I might be in business. Anyone else ever have this happen?

Yes sir. On one property never get pics of bucks for some reason. I see plenty throughout the year though.

I used to help manage a fairly large ranch. We had one pasture we called the buck pasture. Most of the bucks would stay in that area. See occasional buck in the other pastures. Until the rut. Then everything changes.

That's not unusual from what I've seen. We have six cams out and we have one that has no bucks on it. Does, Does and more Does but no bucks. Not sure why but it has been uncanny. On all out other cams we get a mix. On one cam it is 90% bucks. When the rut starts heating up I would set up in that area or just down wind of that area to catch the bucks that are scent checking from afar.

Same problem that I have at my set up. Most of October I watch does and wait on the bucks in November. Once I get the bucks then I put a few does down in December

Are the spin feeders under or close to trees? We have found the bucks do not like the feeders around trees.
