I started running on February 22, 2014 and was absolutely shocked to see the mileage I have accrued since that time. It has probably been 30+ years since I have run and since I have made a change in my eating and life (trying to build muscle, loose body fat and weight) I decided that running and riding a bicycle would help. I have really started to like the running and have done fairly well at it so far, at least in my mind. I just finished my fastest 5 to 7 mile run buy 41 seconds. 5 miles total and that gives my a total of 93 miles run and logged on Runkeeper since Feb 22, 2014. This has helped me to drop from 27% body fat to right at 16% body fat and to drop 45#'s in the last 14 months. I have gone from a XL shirt to a medium shirt and 36" to 32" waist size. This has been a lifestyle change with help from my wife and a personal trainer once per week. l sure feels good to be able to run 5 or 6 miles (my best non-stop run) an to loose this much weight. Running has become a pretty good passion and I never really get tired or winded, it is the legs that give out before my wind does. I plan on keeping this up for a long time as I have a lot of things I want to do and a lot of animals I still need to kill!
