Anyone looking for their first WT bow kill?

My hunting place is in an AR county and I let a legal one walk last year...so tag soup for me. I was waiting for the one in my avatar...and he jumped the string for the one shot I got at him. He may not be that great of a deer, but if I get him this year, it will be the biggest buck I've ever killed. I really thought I would go to a gun last November, but I really fell I love with my bow.

I originally bought the bow last year because I can shoot a doe in bow only season...now I'm addicted. Sadly, the doe showed up in gun season and I never saw one during the thanksgiving doe season.

Looking back, after spending many hours here on the GS, I'm glad I let that wide young six walk. This year, he may something to be proud of.

Very much looking forward to my first deer kill with a bow. Who else is hoping for their first?

Third year here for me. I hope i will this year. I have only had shots with my bow at young or ar bucks After hunting all bow season with no kills its hard not to bring out the rifle

Still looking for my first blood here...i will begin my quest next Thursday. Weather calls for rain and coolercweather. Hopefully, we have enough of a break in showers to take advantage of the cooler weather.

If you have a decent sized hunting property- you should look into becoming MLD.

We do it in an AR county and get 6 doe tags for 600 acres

Im still after my first whitetail i've stuck a few pigs but have not had the opportunity to stick a whitetail.

New to bow hunting and am anxiously awaiting my first kill!

Today was the first day ever for me to bow hunt. Morning was slow, but that was probably me being a little too loud getting my climber all situated. Should be much smoother this evening and for rest of season.
