Groung Blind Help?

Can you shoot a rage through the mesh on a pop up blind without it opening up?

I don't recommend it especially if using the o ring type rages. I started cutting a 4"x4" Hole in the center of my mesh so i could shoot thru it

i shoot the hypodermics and 2 out of 6 opened when they hit the mesh. I cut a little hole and problem solved.

I don't even like shooting fixed blade heads thru the mesh. The primos blinds I use have mesh on elastic straps that are adjustable. I just leave a 2 to 3 inch gap to shoot thru.

This was my plan but last year I had a buck stand there and look at me for 5 minutes because he was used to seeing the blind with the windows closed. I usually hunt from a tree and have very little experience on the ground.

I shot through mesh once with a fixed blade. Felt like a bomb went off in there and I couldn't see ****...needless to say i missed.

Or just the leave the windows exactly the same as when you hunt them. I left mine open all year on the ground blinds and had good luck with that
