The skeeters are terrible at my lease in south victoria county because we are right on the river and have 200 acres that was flooded up about a month ago to go along with the recent rains. It is so bad that just opening the truck door long enough to get in I will have a couple hundred skeeters get in also. I will be using 2 thermacells, Off spray and my light weight camo bug suit when not hunting in a blind. In the blind I only need 1 thermacell.
I know the feeling, I'm in the same exact boat. Our land is right of the Karankawa river in Jackson county.
