Just wondering how you guys handle this situation. Not especially number 2 but number 1. I try real hard not to urinate anywhere near my stand but after a few coffees sometimes its unavoidable. Do you carry a empty coffee can, etc?

this has been discussed in some other threads...and I've been SHOCKED at how guys will just let'er fly right from their stand. here I am coming in like a ninja...barely moving...stressing over sound, movement, scent etc...and these guys are dipping and spitting, #1'ing, eating drinking...LOL!! too funny. and impressive...I think.
whatever I works, I say.
but to answer the question...I'm with you...don't disturb my stand area at all. I did see a container at academy made specifically for that purpose...might need to think about it.

Coolest buck I ever caught on camera was working a scrape I'd pee'd on...and it had a dripper over it that I filled with my own pee.

Testosterone in a scrape may trigger a reaction. Human scent around a stand may well make a smart deer aware that the spot is being hunted. Human urine just adds to the issue. I always carry a bottle.

I hate to be the one that disagrees, but,,, YES they can...
They can't necessarily tell it's your or human urine, but they CAN tell it's not something they've been smelling often and will avoid it, just like they would other smells that don't belong in their habitat...
Carry a "P!$$ Bottle"I use a large empty gatorade bottle.

Last year I was out at about 11 am fixing a feeder and I pee'd about 20 yards away from the feeder (on the opposite side from where my blind was). That evening, I hunted in that blind and had a nice mature buck come out of the woods. He walked up to the spot where I pee'd, took a wiff, turned, and left out of there. Wind direction was good, so I know he didn't smell me.
After that, I carry an empty Gatorade bottle for just in case.

Growing up hunting, we always hunted out of big box blinds, we had a funnel with a hose connected to it that we dropped to the ground and buried it 2 ft down into a pit of charcoal. Always wondered if it really made that big of a difference.
Now that ive done it multiple times with deer coming in 10-30 minutes afterwards, just let it rip. I have yet to see a deer get scared off from me doing so.
