How far can I back down bow?

I had shoulder replaced in May. Rehab going well but still cant break bow over. I shoot a Z7 50-60 and am wondering how far out I can back limb screws and still shoot safely.

Stop at a good archery shop. Let them use their scale to adjust it down.
Not sure how far you can back it off, but not something to learn by trial & error.

I believe it is 5 full turns to stay safe. Approximately 2LBs per full rotation is what I was always told.

Do not try it at home if you don't know. Bow shop is your best bet

Baking a bow down to far is a mistake you only make once.

In your paper work with your bow tells you. Mathews bow is 4 turns out.

If you back those limb bolt out to the point of coming out things will go " Rodeo" on you right quick. If your not sure let the pro shop do it.

I usually back a bow down no more than 4 complete turns. Read it somewhere.

Go to the web site for the bow manufacturer and find the owner's manual. It should be there.

Until the limb bolts come out....won't go any further than that Seriously, take it to a bow shop.
