I've been shooting an '07 Drennalin for the last year. I love the way it feels but I just haven't liked how it's been shooting and my confidence was waning. After about 10 shots tonight I said to Hell with it and got out my old '93 Matthews 3D Vapor and started stacking arrows. It's more accurate, faster, and just as quiet. I'll be totin' a 21 year old bow Saturday.

I'll be taking my 1993 PSE Marauder with me as a back up in case something happens to my recurve. I have not shot it in a few years. Been collecting dust in the garage.
I shot it a couple nights ago and in about 20 shots and a little adjustment I was touching arrows at 25 yds. I think I'll shoot something with it this year just for old time sake.
Fast and quiet are WAY over rated because this thing ain't quiet but it killed everything I ever pointed it at

Sounds to me like you're stuck in a Mathews rut.
Maybe time to try something different?
Confidence is everything. I am still shooting a 2009 bow, I am confident with it. Sure, new bows are sexy and fun to shoot, but I know for sure that this one works perfect for me. I spent many hours tuning it, and it feels good in my hand.

I haven't purchased a brand new bow in 20 years.
