Well I let my boy use a hatchet

He asked me one day if he could try and chop down a tree with a real ax. I thought long and hard because he is kinda accident prone but decided I give him a lesson or two and turn him lose and hope for the best.

I always felt that way when my dad let me chop down trees or mow the field. I always had sense of accomplishment. Good job to you dad for bringing up right.
