I'm thinking about getting a tool box for my truck but I'm not exactly sure what to get or what to put in it. Any suggestions on which box to get? And I'd be interested in seeing what yall keep in your boxes.

Looking for a crossover box and looking to fill it with just anything that I may come across needing. Some in case of emergency stuff

I keep a tow strap and a couple shackles behind the seat.

Im sure I have a bunch more "junk" in it that I dont remember off the top of my head. Inside the cab, under the back seat I have an extra pair of clothes, blanket, bottles of water, fishing rod, MRE.
It may all seem unnecessary but to me its worth it and I have been broke down or stranded and have saved my own rear more times than I can remember. All this is out of sight in my truck and my tool box. My tool box isnt even full.
Only you can decide what you need to put in it but I would recommend at the least simple tool set and extra oil.

If you want to keep what you have in your tool box, get a Ranch Hand, Weather Guard or RKI. Rand Hand the top choice. Spend some time at the box stores and pull the keys out of random boxes and see if they all have the same key, Atwoods and Tractor supply are bad about all the tool boxes having the same keys. If you see a tool box key with a number CH751 stamped on the key be assured a good portion of the population have that key on their ring also.

From receiver locks, to tailgate handles, to padlocks & commercial locks, you'll find BOLT Lock carries a full range of durable locks with the industry's highest corrosion resistance rating.
Helps cut down on the amount of keys I keep with me as well.
