    Polaris Ranger High Rack??

I need help trying to decide on which seat to put on the back of my ranger. I have decided on one from Lone Star Outdoors but I cant decide between the two below. Does anyone have any experience with these or an opinion?

I am in th process of building a high rack in the back of mine but with two swivel chairs gun and armrest used for predator hunting. What will the primary use of the rack be on your Ranger?

I like the first one as well. I'd have the top of the second one ripped off quick..

I have the high seat on mine and it's great, I have run it through plenty of mesquites and other brush and no tears in the fabric. And supprisingly it doesn't get too tipsy even loaded down with three people, plus it gets you up where you can see.

When sitting in the low is it tall enough to rest a gun on the roll bar?

              Thanks for the help guys.

The difference in price between the two is only $50 bucks.
The low seems like it may drive a little better but it looks like I wont be able keep my gun rack on the back roll bar due to the foot rail being so low. The high has the added shooting rail and a spot for an upright gun rack which I like as well....

Any other pro/cons on these two?

I had one for several years and this is what I have found with the high rack.

                1. My truck (Dodge diesel) would get 13 mpg pulling it from Houston to Del Rio. when I could pull a lifted Samurai and deer stands the same distance and get 18 mpg.
                2. The ride through the rough terrain was superisingly smooth from the top.
                3. Hard to get into any regular garage.
                4. If you get the top buy the metal roof with the rails, great combo.

If I was to buy another I would go with the double seats that go down the sides.

I built one similar to the high one. it does catch a lot of wind on the highway. I'm going to put the seat on hinges so I can fold it down while on the road.

For what it's worth I really like the extra height.

If you ever carry a dog box you might want the extra height under neath.

I like Clint's idea of putting the seat on a hinge to get it out of the wind when trailering.

I built one much like the first one. I like everything about it except being able to see behind you, or through the seat. The next one I build will have a removable seat back.
