We should start a petition to get the title of "The National Beer of Texas" moved to Shiner.

I read in a book about the Chicago Worlds Fair in 1893 that the winner of best beer was a gentleman named Pabst and that his prize was a blue ribbon. That's where the name Pabst Blue Ribbon came from.

Goes to show you that back in 1893 there must have been a ton of crappy beers out there.

Lone Star is horrible. We had a Lone Start district manager out dove hunting with us this past weekend who showed up with 7 cases of 16oz tallboys.....Between 12 thirsty men in a hot dove field for three days and nights, only one case of it was drank. We all stuck with our good beer... He did have some great GameGuard hats for all of us though.
