Winter Storm Warning for the Panhandle (time to load up)

My family and I will be taking off here in a little bit for the panhandle to chase some snow. lol They are expecting anywhere from 4 to 15 inches up around Amarillo. I'll be cruising up 287 in a Class C motorhome with my family. If ya see a white trash looking guy driving a 31 ft. motorhome up that way, that's me!

For anyone up that way..how's the weather looking right now? I think they are expecting a changeover to snow anytime now.

I thought I was going to be hunting, until I was told by my daughter that we were going fishing. Who am I to argue with a 7 year old who wants to spend time with dad

Johnny- I just read that westbound I-40 near Amarillo is closed. Be careful out there!

Been snowing here all day. 5 inches here at my place. Its a really wet snow. Should make for some good coyote calling tomorrow.
