Those aren't street tires, those are Yokohama AT's, but this red clay mud up here clogs the tread in a heart beat

I know red clay and its slicker than frog snot!! please dont take this the wrong way or get offended but they are pretty much only good for wet roads and sand, ive had all kinds of tires, bridgestone, kumo, yoko, goodyear etc etc....., and all of their "AT" tires have horrible traction in mud and clay. they clump up too fast and lose all traction. the best tire ive dealt with that's been proven worldwide by every off-road race is the BFG All Terrain. whats so great about them is they are good about cleaning themselves out as the tire spins. if you have a chance give them a try, they look great on the truck as well!
                white wall out!!!!

Will have to agree to disagree, I have yet to see an all terrain tire that can handle red clay and not get the tread filled up and become slick, that is not a big wide aggressive mud tread tire which no one wants to drive down the highway.

I used to slide off that red dirt with MTs. It's as bad as ice.

No offense and I'm well aware of the strengths & weaknesses of my tire. I had been in WA all week & didn't realize how much rain had fallen through the week.

FTR- my yoko AT's carried me further than the GW's MT tread. I made it through a low lying CR that split a playa lake in half. He went the opposite direction on a higher road bed and got stuck again

There ain't to many tires that can handle clay very well and still have decent street manners, personally I hate bfg's, but then I run a fairly aggressive mt

I got stuck in a bar ditch in a chevy this weekend too! Dang front wheels are so weak on it that they wouldn't even spin! Sure glad I'll have my f250 back tomorrow!

And Duckdawg I agree, BFG are awful tires. Blowout specials, especially the AT
