    Eliminator spin plate failure.

The teflon bushing came out of one my spinners. Anybody else had this happen?

Yes. As luck would have it, I had some Delrin laying around, and turned a quick replacement! I figured it was quicker and easier to fab it myself, than to try to buy or beg for a replacement.

Yes it's happened to me twice. Ultramatic replaced it both times.

Go to WM and buy one of the cheap-o white cutting boards. Make your replacements out of it.

There is a new model out that has a better designed bushing that won't come out. I have not had any bushings come out without the help of a dozen raccoons that busted into my varmint cage two different times.

You should be able to take them to any dealer and have them replaced, or a quick fix would be epoxy

It makes a hellacious racket. The spacer is gone so the plate wobbles. Coons can pull the plate down on one side and get all the corn they want.

Found the bushing and pressed it back in place. Theres not a retainer so I don't know what will keep it from happening again.

It will happen again. We pushed back on and within a week, off again.

I had it happen and called West Texas Feeders from the ranch. A new one was in the mail that day. They have great customer service. I've also had another plate not come up all the way consistently and they sent me another no questions asked. I have four eliminator plates running flawlessly now and it has saved me a TON of corn.

Had this problem on one--and I took it off, disassembled it, cleaned it, slicked the shaft up with graphite, and reinstalled. Still going strong 3 yrs later.

Mine kept coming back out even when I tried supergluing it in place.
I called the company and they shipped me a new one when all I was after was a replacement bushing. (Since it went MIA on last wiggle out.)
Great customer service in my book
